Great Restaurants to Choose From...
Or Try Them All!!!
Banff Fine Dining
Banff is a world class destination!
So Banff should have a great selection of fine dining restaurants. They do...
Each one of the eateries below have very qualified chefs to give you the dining experience you deserve.
I love the whole experience of fine dining. From the Chef planning the menu. To the pairing of wines. To the presentation and incredible good service.....I think it's an art form!!!
It's all part of enjoying the exquisite tastes of uniquely prepared food. Can't you tell I'm a "Foodie".....
Here are a few of the more well known Banff Fine Dining establishments. I've tried them all....
Exquisite classic French cuisine, interpreted with Canadian ingredients.
French table service. Fine French cuisine.
Sophisticated menu, elegant decor, and many window tables. Jacket and tie optional.
Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence; AAA 4-Diamond award. "Simply the finest in Banff" by Bon Appetit magazine.
Rated #29 of 108 Banff restaurants in Trip Advisor.
The menu has a bent towards French (as you would expect from the name), but has enough Canadian flavour to accommodate other tastes. They do haute cuisine very well. Fresh seafood, choice Alberta beef, rack of lamb and tender veal are delicately sauced and impeccably presented.
If you are looking for Banff fine dining, this is a great choice. I've eaten at Eden (Rimrock Hotel), Banffshire Club (Banff Springs), and other fine dining establishments in Banff, and I would rate this #1 (although Eden is a close 2nd).
Eden at Rimrock Resort Hotel.
Eden - Their AAA Five Diamond award winning restaurant is an exquisite dining experience, offering French cuisine with regional accents and award winning wine cellar.
Eden has been honored for the 6th straight year with AAA/CAA 5-Diamond and “Best of Award of Excellence” Wine Spectator awards.
Eden is one of only five, 5-Diamond Dining rooms in Canada, and the only one in Western Canada.
With over 17,000 bottles of wine in inventory, they can accommodate your personal preferences from the wonderful world of wine. Sommeliers are on staff to offer the best wine pairing to compliment the experience.
Eden is closed Monday and Tuesday each week.

Their menu features a variety of fresh seafood from both Canadian coasts and succulent cuts of bison, beef and elk.
To compliment these amazing dishes the Maple Leaf offers over 600 selections of wine. They feature a magnificent array of Canadian offerings. This is Banff Fine Dining at it's best!

Their beautiful and inviting lodge style interior offers panoramic views of majestic mountain peaks.
Their staff are long time "locals" and love to offer advice on how you can make the most of our mountain playground. That's a plus when you're new to town!!
New Banffshire Club
This restaurant recently revamped its French-style menu toward creating simple sensuous dishes.
Specializing in progressive Canadian cuisine with a French twist.
They're proud of the a commitment to sustainable cuisine, sourcing as many local ingredients as possible, from farms throughout Western Canada.
Refined and elegant, this distinguished restaurant pampers diners with fantastic regional cuisine and the soothing strains of a harp.
The menu takes Canada's best ingredients and produces such dishes as roasted young partridge with truffles, pecan crusted caribou, and cedar-roasted Alaskan sable fish. A terrific wine list and a selection of single malt scotches complement the cuisine beautifully.
